DIGITAL WORKPLACE ENGINEER

The position is responsible for the management  and continuous improvements of digital workplace technologies and integration of adjacent technologies including but not limited to user devices, applications and software. The position also include digital workplace discovery, planning, design, delivery, and support to digital workplace initiatives like compliance, governance, enablement on the new ways of working, its adaption, and maximizing of IT capabilities throughout the organization.

Role Overview: 

  • Provides technical leadership in supporting digital workplace tools and technologies (hardware, software, services, SaaS tools)
  • Drives innovation  and automation around digital workplace operations
  • Implements, monitors, and operates digital workplace technologies (hardware, software, services, SaaS tools)
  • Assesses criticality of services and applications and automates testing of those deemed critical before patching and upgrades
  • Provides end-user support for issues, requests escalated from level 1 to level 2
  • Plans and designs the implementation of new digital workplace technologies that support business needs
  • Collaborates with technology vendors , product and service owners to ensure alignment of product roadmaps

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree holder
  • With at least 3-5 years of work experience in IT workplace technologies (hardware, devices, software, etc.) at the strategic and tactical level
  • Has excellent experience with MS Windows operating system and other operating systems (e.g. iOS, Android)
  • Has excellent experience around Microsoft O365 platforms (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MSTeams, Outlook, Power Platform)
  • With Modern Workspace expertise and good knowledge of modern EMM tools with focus on Intune and their integrations with 3rd party tools (MECM, Azure, InTune Windows AutoPilot)
  • Microsoft certification is preferred but not required
  • Has good communication skills, both written and verbal and strong service orientation
  • Has good general infrastructure skills
