AUDIT QUALITY ASSURANCE AND IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Role Overview:

• Assists in creating and executing QA programs that align with company policies, standards, and ethics.
• Maintains and updates a manual aimed at improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of internal audit activities.
• Regularly evaluates audit engagements to ensure conformance with standards and company policies.
• Prepares reports on QA activities, assessments, findings, and improvement plans.
• Helps track progress of improvement initiatives and adjusts strategies for desired outcomes.
• Supports divisional goals by helping implement new or enhanced internal audit processes, internal systems, and operational tasks such as budgeting, requisitions, and supplies management.
• Develops audit programs, identifying objectives, risks, and test procedures based on business goals and best practices.
• Contributes to audit planning, strategy, and execution.
• Assists in preparing the annual audit budget, plans, and goals.
• Conducts walkthroughs to understand processes, risks, and controls during audits.
• Identifies and evaluates control design, comparing practices to industry standards.
• Aligns audit objectives, timelines, and deliverables with process owners and management, and recommends corrective actions.
• Participates in system implementation and project development, ensuring proper functionality and controls.
• Provides insights and consultations during process reviews.
• Organizes documentation after each audit phase for review.
• Updates and follows up on MAPs to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (Accountancy or any Business related course)
• Preferably knowledgeable in SAP, Oracle or other related accounting systems/ERP solutions
• With at least 1 year of work experience
• With experience/training related to Audit, Risk Management, Project Management, Data Analytics
• With Good Communication Skills
