Job Overview:

The BU Operations Head is responsible for managing businesses from different industries - specialty laboratory, sleep medicine and personalized supplements. The BU Head needs extensive understanding and experience on managing different functional teams, creating strategies, and managing operations of multiple independent businesses. With BU heads as direct reports, the goal is to see through the scale-up and sustainability of the three (3) existing businesses and to propose and test new ventures.

• Operational Excellence: Translates the long-term vision & strategies to key operational plans and executional priorities for each business unit
• Financial & Risk Management: Ensures targets and milestones are met & manages investments/financials for business scale-up & sustainability
• Organizational & People Development: Coaches and develops Unit Heads (and other direct reports) for holistic & effective general business management
• Customer Relationship Management: Identify and forge partnerships or strategic alliances in pursuit of business opportunities to remain relevant and competitive
• Entrepreneurial: Pitch and pilot test high opportunity business ventures within the healthcare space

Required Qualifications:

• Attained Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Management, Finance, Economics, or any other related business field
• With at least seven (7) years of relevant experience in healthcare industry and at least three (3) years of experience in operations management
• Has strong organizational and planning skills, project management skills, and strong leadership abilities
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
