CONTROLLERSHIP ANALYST

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Prepares and submits monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to Controllership Leadership Team, thru Anaplan, 2 working days after month/quarter/year-end closing of books for small volume companies.        
-Prepares and submits tax schedules and remittances to CG Leaders 5 to 7 days before BIR deadline. E-files various taxes (e.g. witholding taxes on compensation, expanded w/tax, final tax, VAT, ITR) in BIR website as scheduled by BIR, and e-submission of alphalists as supporting documents.        
-Analyzes each balance sheet and income accounts weekly and coordinates with business partners to ensure the quality of financial reports. Assesses the compliance with financial regulations and controls, examines records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.        
-Prepares statutory reports like BIR mandatory reports, in compliance to their requirements on the agreed date of submission. Generates monthly reports and working papers for all accounts subject for audit, for submission to External Auditors every end of 3rd qtr for the interim audit and annual year-end closing of accounting books.  
-Performs month-end closing activities of accounting books in SAP, which includes recording of accruals, transfer posting of deferred taxes, and posting necessary book adjustments every end of the month.        
-Maintains and reconciles Employee’s and Employer’s financial records of Retirement Plan companies in SAP, and collaborates with Payroll Team for the monitoring of URP Loans and Contributions of both resigned and active employees, every week.        

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
-Minimum have 1-2 years of actual working experience in the area of finance such as preparation of financial statements, financial audit, or in the field of taxation
-With mastery of BIR regulations, IFRS and SEC reporting standards governing corporate taxation
-Has strong data analytical skills
-Must be proficient in MS Excel
-Preferably with SAP experience
