ROLE OVERVIEW

• Analyzes the system-generated forecasts and checks and corrects for possible outliers that are unnecessarily creating an erroneous baseline forecast
• Achieves consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating a collaborative planning process with sales, marketing and finance team to be communicated to supply planning team
• Manages inventory level optimization by setting the target days supply to minimize obsolescence and short dated inventory
• Takes charge of documenting assumptions and agreements and ensures proper communication to enabling teams. The demand plan will be cascaded to Supply and Finance teams simulation/evaluation and planning.
• Leads to identify gaps between demand and supply and manages these gaps through initiating alignments and establishing strong action plans with marketing, sales and supply teams
• Monitors supply situations including replenishment and operational requirements (follow through with the different enablers) through coordination with other enabling teams
• Keeps track of stocks/inventory movement in the warehouse and flags potential obsolescence for immediate action and move out
• Assists in facilitating Phase-In and Phase-out initiatives to ensure smooth transition and avoid sales loss
• May be assigned to special projects to assume overall monitoring or even project management roles if needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or other equivalent courses
• Preferably with 1-2 years of experience on demand management, forecasting, S&OP, and/or supply chain functions
• Fresh graduates are open to apply
• Results-driven, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
