Role Overview: 

  • Assists the Finance Manager in the Financial Planning Process by laying out the groundwork in terms of division's annual budget and playing a key role in thetranslation in financial terms the strategic direction of the assigned portfolio
  • Runs an efficient consolidation process by creating appropriate templates and coordinating with different stakeholders to come up with Long Range Plans (LRP), Budgets, and Latest Estimates 
  • Challenges the reasonability of the division's/assigned portfolio's inputs and assumptions (e.g. growth in assigned portfolio's sales are in line with growth objectives, NPD assumptions are in line with Financial Evaluation, assumptions in operating expenses such as number of cars, laptops, growth in OPEX, etc. are sound)
  • Provides decision support to stakeholders to ensure that business units  are guided in their decisions with the objective of attaining financial goals
  • Prepares financial analysis and develops financial models to support key decisions
  • Applies accounting principles to ensure that correct and timely financial data is captured for resource commitment and accurate financial reporting
  • Enforces policies and guidelines through the review of marketing programs' mechanics and operational activities as declared on various documents such as Project Proposal Documents (PPDs), Purchase Requesitions (PRs), and Post Evaluation Forms
  • Drafts new policies or implementing guidelines for transactions that are not covered by any existing policy
  • Continuously improves processes and advocates the effective use of systems by:
  • Conducting walk throughs or address queries regarding financial processes or navigation of the different systems affecting financial transactions 
  • Acting as project manager or leader for process and system improvement projects initiatives by Business Unit Finance

Required Qualifications:

  • Preferably graduate of BS Accountancy, BS Management Engineering, BS Management Accounting and/or Management course (or its equivalent)
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
  • With at least 3-6 years of related work experience, preferably with External Audit experience and/or Finance Analyst role of Pharma or FMCG company
  • Adept in accounting systems and MS Excel
  • Adept in SAP / Anaplan is a plus but not a requirement
  • Innovative and able to suggest policies and business process improvement
