IMPORT ANALYST

Role Overview:

•    Monitors incoming shipments by coordinating with buyers, brokers, forwarders, and other pertinent support groups.
•    Submits and routes documents for approval by processing and reviewing supporting documents, coordinating with buyers, brokers, forwarders, banks, and other pertinent support groups, and paying the correct duties on time.

•    Negotiates logistics costs and conducts performance reviews by monitoring industry rates and collecting performance data to review/discuss with active service providers.

•    Prepares and reviews documents related to payment by collating pertinent documents, checking the details as instructed by the buyers and routing to other departments and signatories for further processing

•    Complies with customs requirements and manage customs duty costs to a minimal exposure; regularly conduct regulatory self audits / compliance to the latest customs regulations; keep customs documents in proper filing, maintenance, and retention

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's Degree / 4-year course graduate
•    Preferably Engineering, Logistics, Business related courses
•    Knowledgeable in Import Logistics/ Supply Chain operation is a plus
•    With good oral and written skills
•    Proficient in MS Excel
•    Must be organized
