MAINSTREAM ASSISTANT PRODUCT MANAGER

Role Overview:

  • Manages product lifecycle and identifies relevant market, touchpoints, business and customer dynamics (through the use of various data, researches and insighting tools) in the creation of go-to-market plans.
  • Develops brand vision, short / long-term growth strategies and architecture, and identifies new ideas, areas for improvement, or alternative solutions.
  • Ensures sustainable business growth and strengthening of brand equity over time.
  • Manages commercialization of new solutions for the core business, including post-launch reviews if necessary.
  • Executes strategic priorities into operational reality by implementing end-to-end management of marketing campaigns and programs from ideation to execution.
  • Independently brings new concepts / ideas to completion through responsible experimentation.
  • Aligns and collaborates with relevant stakeholders to progress plans and achieves desired results. Synthesizes key learnings and determines way forward for program replicability and sustainability.
  • Executes end-to-end business planning and management for the assigned product (such as marketing, demand/supply chain, financials).
  • Effectively manages resources and evaluates financial impact of brand plans.
  • Continuously identifies and pursues opportunities to deliver cost efficiencies / business results and optimizes brand profitability.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Attained bachelor’s degree in any business or marketing-related course
  • With at least three (3) years solid brand management /marketing experience preferably from pharmaceuticals, FMCG, telco, fin-tech/e-commerce
  • Must be entrepreneurial and agile go-getters, achievers who have the curiosity, aptitude, persistence, and resilience to solve consumer and business problems
  • Has good analytical skills which can filter, prioritize and analyze information in complicated and/or new situations
  • With advanced or above-average digital marketing skills. Able to harness the power of digital platform to deliver results for the business
  • Must be agile and comfortable with experimentation & evaluating risks, able to pivot when needed and eager to create value in the soonest possible time
  • Must have sharp business instincts and financial acumen
  • With excellent leadership of cross-functional teams, able to manage complex projects, rally and influence key stakeholders. Good communication / persuasion skills
  • Must be results & action-oriented, strong initiative, employs the right process &/or creative resourcefulness to achieve objectives and results on - time / ahead of time
  • Has strong sense of accountability
