MARKET INFORMATION SPECIALIST (MARKET RESEARCH)

Role Overview:

• Identifies the business problem and able to transform them into a market research project
• Prepares and presents research design/analytical framework, instruments and reports based on the information requirements of clients
• Formulates marketing and business insights using market research, syndicated studies, competitive intelligence initiatives and data analytics.
• Collaborates with clients and research partners to implement research/competitive intelligence/data analytics projects
• Conducts data analytics such as exploratory analysis, exploration of data relationships, statistical analysis and recommendations
• Integrates data from different sources and derive insights that can lead to further data mining, research design and provide actionable information to address business needs

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Social Science
• With at least 3 years of experience in market research and data analytics
• Knowledgeable in statistical modeling and analytics (applied statistics)
• Proficient in MS Office and data management/data wrangling tools
• Proficient in statistical and data science tools and platforms is an advantage (SPSS, SAS, EViews, R, Python, AWS, Tableau, Spark, Azure, etc)
• With excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• With a keen eye for details and analytically inclined
• Identifies the business problem and able to transform them into a market research project
