CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST - DISTRIBUTOR MANAGEMENT AND GENERAL TRADE (BICOL)

Role Overview:
• Provides total distributor territorial management for the BU's by monitoring and enforcing distributor compliance to the terms, conditions and standards stipulated in their respective distributor license agreements regarding coverage, logistics and warehousing requirements, credit requirements, manpower, inventory replenishment, and systems and processes.
• Leads the regular assessment of the distributor operations and guides the different departments of the distributor operations (sales, finance, warehouse, and logistics) to perform according to set standards.
• Provides operational support to the distributor and the different departments of Unilab (Sales & Customer Development, Marketing, Credit & Finance, BSDG, Corporate Quality Assurance & Compliance, and Logistics) by acting as the single point-of-contact, aligning for and cascading strategic directions and initiatives to the different departments of the distributor operations (sales, finance, warehouse, and logistics) and by elevating the issues and concerns of the distributor to the different department of Unilab.
• Provides plans and programs to the distributor by crafting an annual area business development plan and creating periodic project proposals that will provide solutions to address gaps specific to distributor operations in relation to identified BU needs and/ or opportunities.
• Enables the distributor to operate in and cover the area efficiently by carefully assessing the territory, accounts, crafting coverage and delivery route plans (MCP), and aligning the necessary resources such as trucks, manpower and other requirements of the MCP.
• Provides developmental support to the distributor sales organization by conducting regular training contacts and periodic refresher modules for the development of the distributor salesforce in terms of sales call procedures, the use of sales tools (such as the SFA tool), customer service, and key account management.
• Establishes strategic business relationships with key trade accounts and other related organizations for the company by cultivating collaborative engagements through regular trade visits, assessing distributor service levels, identifying operational opportunities, addressing gaps in product distribution, and implementation of necessary operational adjustments to address deficiencies and ensure the achievement of all assigned distribution metrics.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree / 4-year Course graduate
• No specific course needed
• At least 3-6 years of experience
• Must have work experience in related fields such as Sales and Marketing
• Currently based and/ or have work experience in Bicol, preferably in Naga
